This high tech, enjoyable learning environment helps to involve and motivate students with a range of learning styles, as well as maximizing their potential. The theory sections are ideal for leading classroom presentations, with key points sumarised into bullet poiints and illustrated with photos and diagrams. The theory and video content can be accessed by students after class and used as a helpful revision tool.

Developed
to support and enhance students' learning, The Virtual Kitchen Diploma website
is a fun and dynamic interactive learning environment catering for students' of
the 14-19 Diploma in Hospitality at Foundation, Higher and Advanced
levels. The resource has been authored by the expert team at Westminster Kingsway College who
provide the benefit of their expertise, gained from years of working in the
industry.
Students'
will be inspired and encouraged to learn in this fresh and exciting online
environment packed full of many features such as interactive quizzes,
bite-sized theory , video and picture galleries and industry profiles. Also
featured are RSS feeds to provide the latest, up-to-date hospitality and
catering news and a forum so students and lecturers can discuss set topics, ask
questions about the course and find the help they need both in and out of the
classroom.
Each level
is composed of units which reflect the modules within the course
