InfoTrac Structure and Access: Collections and Custom

Pre-assembled Collections

Gale offers InfoTrac collections which have been pre-assembled by expert curators, drawing the most appropriate material from the InfoTrac content repository. These collections are the most economical way to access InfoTrac periodicals.

There are large academic collections, such as Academic OneFile, Academic ASAP and Educator’s Reference Complete, and more general reference resources such as General OneFile, General Reference Centre Gold and InfoTrac Newsstand. Gale also offers InfoTrac Student Edition, which is a selection of material expertly chosen from the InfoTrac database as the most suitable for high school students.

There are around 30 smaller collections of material as well, (previously referred to as ‘Powerpacks’) which meet specialist subject needs by focusing on specific areas such as home improvement, psychology, agriculture or fine arts. If you subscribe to Academic or General OneFile, you get automatic access to all these smaller niche collections.
